Fashion in Motion: Osman

Last night, I attended a Fashion in Motion catwalk show at the Victoria and Albert Museum, focusing on Osman, 'a rising star of the international fashion scene'. It was the third catwalk show I have been to at the V&A, the first being Giles Deacon and the second being Erdem. Osman's catwalk show was rather different to the two others, though; two wonderful dancers opened the show to showcase how his clothes move on the human form. The female dancer was effortlessly beautiful, twirling and leaping in a floaty navy blue dress, whilst the male dancer seemed to be doing a contemporary take on an African dance. The collection was just beautiful, the clothes flowed gracefully on the models, who were walking in the most amazing sculptural wedges and embellished heels. All of the outfits were in block colours, with bursts of bright pink, gold, silver, blue, and purple throughout, with the accessories being large clutch bags, sunglasses and feather collars. All in all, it was a beautiful show and I just cannot wait for the next one. Love, Jazzabelle. P.S. Well, I am definately not going to be a catwalk photographer anytime soon, am I? Hehe. These are the best shots I got, but coincidently, of my favourite pieces!
