In the top photograph you can probably make out that I'm wearing lipstick, a first for me, as I tend to only wear concealer and powder. It's actually my Grandma's lipstick, I tried it on a few days ago and just adored the deep shade, similar to that of my Laura Ashley cardigan, so she kindly gave it to me. I've worn the lipstick all day today and yesterday, it's actually made me feel a little more confident in myself, plus it's just so pretty, you'll definately be seeing many outfit posts with me wearing lipstick in the future! These photographs were taken outside the Victoria and Albert Museum, after my Grandma, Mum and I were given a private tour of the Raphael: Cartoons and Tapestries for the Sistine Chapel exhibition, which I won a couple of days ago via a Twitter competition. It was such an experience to be given a tour, I'd like to thank Linnea for showing us around, we all had a wonderful time! After visiting the V&A, my friend Shana-Kaye and I got 'dolled up' (which just consisted of me putting on a pair of wedges, cardigan and necklace) then went out for Nando's and a good few drinks. I had a pretty darn good evening, and a lovely weekend overall. I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend, too! Love, Jazzabelle.

  7. this outfit is SO lovely. Very Parisian chic. The lipstick is lush - i've recently started wearing lippie. . . Rimmel Moisture Renew is sooooo easy to apply. None of that lip brush, lip liner prep needed. ck :) x

  20. We don't need a new you,Jazz, we love the old one! However, I do like that lipstick on you, it's such a pretty colour and you're right, a bit of lippy does wonders for the self confidence. xxx

  21. Oh, I can't see the lipstick. I never wear any because I don't feel like me when I do. It doesn't look good on me, to be honest, so I just wear gloss. I'd like to see you wear eye shadow and mascara, maybe for a party? You'd definitely look like a model on the runway! Well, you already do without the make up, hehe.

Oh, and burgundy suits you perfectly!

    Cheers!

    Miki.

  23. Ah, I can't see it either, but can imagine it's there. Lovely shots, Jazmine, in that same spot! I'm sorry I haven't sent you the shots yet - I'm a little swamped but will do this week. Sounds like a lovely day. Oh btw: we LOVE Nando's.

Also like MIki said: burgundy is SO your colour, and that is just such a perfect look: slightly tomboy, but also - mainly cause of the bag (and, I imagine, the lipstick) a bit ladylike & grown up. Come to think of it: just like you! x

  28. Lovely jumper and lipstick! I'm always too scared to wear it, as it emphasises my lips so much but might be tempted to try a darker shade. Would love to see a close-up.

  35. I love that wine-y shade of red, and your jumper looks lovely against the washed-out old stone :)
I agree, i think wearing lipstick (or any different kind of make-up look) makes you more confident as it forces you out of your comfort zone, which can only be a good thing- i know i get stuck in a rut of not being v. adventurous with make up
