Dress (worn as top), Asos, £22 - Vintage Georges Rech Paris skirt, charity shop, £14.99 - Shoes, Primark, £4 - Bag, H&M, £9.99.
As soon as I saw this skirt in a charity shop nearby my work, it was love at first sight. Saying that, it took me three trips to the store before I finally bought it, and I'm ever so glad it was still waiting for me! The first time I didn't have time to try it on, the second time I realized I didn't have enough money, but then on my third visit I quickly tried it on and rushed to the counter to pay. I don't usually bother checking labels on clothes I buy secondhand as I'm more about whether I actually like the piece than the brand, but I just checked mine and I believe that Synonyme de Georges Rech Paris is a good designer brand? The quality of the skirt is lovely and the fit is so perfect it's like it was made for me! I adore the colour palette, plus the floral design slightly reminds me of a the work of William Morris which is pretty darn sweet. I instantly envisioned styling this skirt with a corset style crop top, but as I don't have one as of yet I compromised by teaming it with my Asos sweetheart dress worn as top, which I think works ever so well! I also thought I'd give my poor feet a break from my vintage shoes so went with a simple pair of flats, along with my new favourite summer bag. I'm ever so happy with this outfit, and whilst I've been feelin' down about my appearance, it really does make me feel a somewhat confident when I wear an outfit which I adore. Love, Jazzabelle.

Dress, courtesy of Urban Outfitters - Shoes, charity shop, £3 - Bag, H&M, £9.99.
A couple of days ago my mum and I decided to make the most of the lovely weather and visit the Old English Garden in Battersea Park again to take a few photographs. The garden is lookin' just beautiful at the moment - the Wisteria flowers look ever so pretty and I love the water feature, I definitely think it will become a regular location for my outfit photographs! I thought it was the perfect day to wear my new dress, even though it may be a little too fancy to wear for a walk around the park! I adore the placement of the side cut outs and length of the dress, though as it's so very body-con I did feel a little self concious as I'm not completely happy with my figure. Whilst I'm slim, I don't have the flattest lookin' stomach due to my arched back which bothers me a little, plus I'd quite like slightly wider hips to give me more shape.
I hope you have had a nice week so far - my days have been spent working, treating myself to Starbucks, visiting the Victoria and Albert Museum with Sabine, charity shopping, wearing the best top ever, receiving Cath Kidston treats in the post and spending time with my mum. Have a lovely weekend! Love, Jazzabelle.

leopard print.

Dress, Topshop, £28 - Jean jacket, charity shop, 50p - Faux fur stole, gift - Bag, H&M, £9.99 - Shoes, charity shop, £3.
As you can see I'm still lovin' my mum's denim jacket and faux fur stole combination (my nan gave me this fur stole as a little gift as she knew how much I loved my usual secondhand one!), though this time I'm teaming them with a couple of recent acquisitions. I've never been one for leopard print as I've always considered it too far out of my comfort zone, but after spotting this dress a few times and knowing the shape would suit me as I already have the black version, I couldn't resist trying it on. I'm so glad I bought it in the end, as I really think that leopard print is still rather classic and the neutral colours fit in with my personal style. The bag is also a recent buy, as soon as I saw it I just knew it would be my perfect summer bag! It's the ideal size, has a simple shape and wasn't too expensive, I'm one happy lady! I wore this outfit yesterday for a spot of shopping and lunch at The Diner with my mum which was ever so lovely - don't forget to follow me on instagram (jazzabellediary) if you'd like to see more about what I'm doing inbetween blog posts! Love, Jazzabelle.

Sweetheart dress, Asos, £22 - Shoes, charity shop, £3 - Bag, car boot sale, free.
Just a little post this evening, as I couldn't resist sharing with you my little black dress I recently bought! I adore the classic shape of the dress (very Audrey Hepburn!) with the lovely detailed woven straps at the back, plus the fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline are ever so flattering for my figure. It wasn't too expensive either, so I'm very much considering buying the light pink version, too! I have to be honest and say that I've been feelin' rather down for the last few weeks, my confidence seems to have dropped a little plus I've been quite ill on and off for a while. Because of that, apart from work I've just been at home lookin' like a hobo, watching ridiculous amounts of The Big Bang Theory (I'm quite in love with the babe that is Sheldon Cooper) and drinking tea. I've always been happy in my own company, so it's been nice to have some time to myself.
Oh yes, I can assure you that in the second picture the bottom half of my arm hasn't disappeared, it's still very much intact. It's not the best picture, but it does show off the front of my dress rather nicely! Love, Jazzabelle.

My mum's 50p jean jacket - Peplum top, H&M, £12.99 - Jeans, Asos Petite, £30 - Shoes, c/o Asos - Bag, car boot sale, free.
Over the last couple of months I've taken quite a shine to polka dots, particularly of the blue and white variety. I've been wearing this peplum top (which I actually wore back to front for a higher neckline), ballet pumps and my lovely Whistles blouse so darn much recently, along with this pretty Cath Kidston hankie I've been styling in my hair for work nearly every day. I wore this outfit yesterday evening for a short walk around Battersea Park with my mum, the weather was ever so lovely. As you can see I made a lovely little friend too, I'll definitely be visiting him again soon. I always get rather worried when I post on my blog, I do hope this makes a nice change from outfit pictures against my favourite brick wall. It would be lovely to know what you think? Also, a late congratulations to Catherine who won my last giveaway! Plus thank-you to my lovely mother for the pictures! Love, Jazzabelle.
