little blue dress.

Why hello, there! I thought it was about time I featured an outfit in which I'm not wearing a pair of my American Apparel jeans (or that darn jean jacket), so here you are! This is what I wore to my Auntie's wedding last weekend - my dad kindly bought me this dress whilst I was last minute shopping the day before. It's such a pretty dress, though I can't wait to start layering it up with thick jumpers, tights and boots once the weather gets a little cooler. The heels were such a perfect find too, I'm so happy to finally get my hands on a pair of heels like this which are actually rather comfortable! I think they'll look so darn nice teamed with a pair of skinny jeans and a slouchy tee.
If you follow me on twitter or facebook, you may have seen that I did a spot of modelling earlier this week! On Tuesday Miss Selfridge invited Amy, Stella and I to model for their upcoming Project #3 collection. The shoot took place all around Oxford Street, and as always it was so lovely to get my makeup done professionally, to be shot by a brilliant photographer and just generally spend the day with so many kind people. The collection was so beautiful (and all black, so just perfect for me!), I'm so lookin' forward to seeing and sharing the final images with you all in October! Love, Jazmine.

the details of daily life.

'The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life' - William Morris.
After knowing my love for William Morris, Barbour kindly sent me this beautiful quilted jacket, lined with one of my favourite of Morris' patterns, Strawberry Thief. I wore it almost everyday whilst on holiday - for various countryside walks, stopping at a beautiful cottage for afternoon tea and for a rainy day trip to Ludlow castle. The jacket really made the perfect British countryside attire, it felt rather apt to be wearing a piece from such a quintessentially British brand, featuring the design of my favourite British artist. It's such a classic shape and design too, it really fits in with my personal style plus makes me feel ever so ladylike and mature whenever I wear it! I'm slowly settling back in to being back at home, spending time with my family, enjoying my own company (though occasionally feeling a little lonely) and making the most of my free time before I'm back to work. I've got some pretty secondhand pieces and outfits to share with you soon, but for now, I hope you all have a wonderful week! Love, Jazmine.

Hello everyone! On Friday I arrived home after a week's holiday in Shrewsbury with some of my favourite family and just couldn't wait to share some photographs with you all! I had the most lovely time - we stayed in the most beautiful cottage with wonderful views of the countryside, wandered around the local towns, went for afternoon tea, made it to the top of Ludlow Castle, went on many country walks and of course drank far too much tea. We even made friends with an adorable horse called Chester who lived just across the road from us, isn't he a sweetie? I'll share a little more about my time away in another blog post soon, but in the meantime I'll be posting some more photographs on my new tumblr, along with catching up on all of your blogs! Love, Jazmine.
P.S. You might be able to notice that I now have a nose piercing! After two years of being a too scared (despite having my tongue pierced four years ago) I finally was brave enough to get it done. I love it ever so much!

“Pick the day. Enjoy it - to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come... The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present - and I don't want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.” - Audrey Hepburn.
Happy Sunday, everyone! Love, Jazmine.

There's nothing like the typical British weather to put you in even more of a dreary mood - I've had a lovely couple of weeks, but over the last few days I have started to feel a little down again, which is quite a shame. I really felt (and looked!) so confident in my last post, so to suddenly feel the way I do is pretty upsetting, especially as it happens so often. Though I have to say, yesterday was made a little better after a brief trip to Southbank with my mum to take a few pictures of me in my new blouse. The Autumn/Winter collections are starting to make their way into work, so as soon as I spotted this shirt I just knew I had to buy it - luckily my staff discount made the price a little more reasonable! Navy blue really has started to take over my wardrobe recently, it's definitely a colour I'll be wearing an awful lot over the coming months.
Thank-you for all of your lovely comments, tweets and emails as of late, along with voting for me in the Cosmopolitan blog awards! It all really means ever so much to me. Love, Jazmine.
